At UK SHIPPING, we exercise the highest degree of care in the handling and transportation of our customers’ vehicles. Notwithstanding these efforts, due to the inherent nature of containerised transport and the utilisation of securing equipment (including, but not limited to, straps, braces, and guards), minor scratches, scuffs, or other cosmetic imperfections may occasionally occur during the processes of loading, transit, or unloading. Such occurrences are regarded as a normal and unavoidable risk associated with container shipping.
Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, no protective coverings (such as car covers, wraps, or padding) will be applied to the vehicle. Customers are strongly advised to provide suitable protective coverings to assist in safeguarding their vehicle during transportation. Vehicles are secured using standard industry practices to ensure safe and stable positioning within the container.
Limitation of liability
The Customer acknowledges and agrees that UK SHIPPING shall not be held liable for minor cosmetic damage, including but not limited to light scratches, paint marks, or superficial abrasions, which may arise from standard handling and securing procedures, particularly in instances where no additional protective covering has been provided.
By proceeding with the shipment, the Customer confirms acceptance of these terms and acknowledges the inherent risks involved in containerised vehicle transport.
